Hi Jugs!

Hiiii Jugs!

It's been so long! I think NS really robbed me of the momentum to write, but as I adjust to NS, I'm finding more free time to devote to writing my life down. Looking back at the work I've done over all these years of blogging, and reading my words again, it's just so cool, to see that the thoughts never really died.

My life is back on track again. Got a Digital Yamaha Piano P120S that I really reccomend, but pales in comparison to Lauren Fu's piano. Somehow alot of the vibrations and touch of the instrument is lost in translation. But then again, without my Digital Piano, I'll never know that piano sounds can be so different. Really think Geri's piano needs a good tuning.

I fixed my iBook as well, sourced out the fastest Notebook harddisk and the AirPort card for it, and it's really serving me well now. The 3 hr battery life is decent, even though the iBook is already 2 yrs + old. I'm really a happy customer. The iBook works from 9+ to 11 at my home while I'm watching TV, so I can surf wirelessly and MSN at the same time. Really cool! Probably getting one for NUS too.

Also borrowed Porshee's scanner, the Epson 4870 and finished scanning one photo file. Took me an entire month of on and off scanning! The photo editing and retouching will cost me another month or so of work, but I really need to calibrate my monitor to make sure that I don't lose too much image information in the retouching..

Also been doing photography rather intensively this year. I think it's a more reflective year. It really helps to go relook all the photos you've made before, and see how you can improve on them, or how well you've progressed over the span of the year. Photography is a real passion of mine, and is only currently stuck cos it's my most expensive hobby.

I also started on Salsa lessons this year, and already reached the intermediate level of Salsa 3! I really enjoy dancing after a week of work, and especially cos Geri dances so well, and we have so much fun dancing together! Haha... but yeah you've got to dance with other people too so that you can realize your mistakes and know what you're doing wrong.

Learnt alot!!!

I MISS JUGS!!!
