Hush with all the funeral marches already. I'll try posting about SRP life when i get an NUS account which won't be anytime soon. As I also need to get a NUS Library account which requires a photo Urk.

SRP's pretty fun... endless bridge rounds, nature walks around NUS and Kent Ridge Park. You probably didn't know that so many of the stuff around NUS is edible or herbal in nature. Figs are stuffed full of living and dead wasps cos they don't flower and rely on the wasps' life cycles for reproduction of the figs themselves. Took a walk up to Kent Ridge Peak... nice view and all. Anyone at CAP wants to go there again next week?

Found NUS life rather relaxing. Got a fever during the week... cured with a rousing game of Captain's ball! Haven't played that in ages. Saw senegal's goal live. Laughed then cos it wuz such a really silly goal.

Talked to the SRP people.. made a few new friends... defined my ideal female partner on my walk back... realized I liked people better if I rarely knew them. Realized people liked me better if they rarely knew me. Familiarity Breeds Contempt at work.

I applaud you bird feeder. Just that in Singapore, when someone tries to feed the cute innocent pidgeons, the irritating crows muscle in. Kinda reflects Singaporean society don't you think? The obnoxious few are always so conspicuous and driving all the nice souls away. Its probably not that there are so few of them volunteers... its just that those who are serious about volunteering do it unconditionally and never call the press or anything. They've probably been doing it for YEARS so it wouldn't qualify as news anyway.
